What’s he done to in his career to be valued at £80m? Apart from looking fancy and being effective for a year or two in a mid table team.

£30m of that will be because he’s English alone and that stupid quota inflated all of their values.

Just don’t see the value in this, creativity hasn’t been our problem and I don’t see him solving our issues of squandering chances when he’s hit double figures once.

Neither could Phil Foden, but he’s arguably one of if not the hottest prospect around. I think Grealish is a late developer. I’m no fan of Southgate or his tactics. He’s too negative and therefore there are lots of prodigious talents for one or two attacking spots. Also, on one of the rare occasions I’ll ever agree with Roy Keane, international caps these days mean very little.
Southgate is not the man to lead this young, talented group of English players to the next level. He‘s done well with the managerial nous he does have, and has had some luck. But he’ll always get found out at the business end of a tournament. So all things considered I don’t think the international caps thing is relevant.

If we get him for less than Pogba cost the Rags then it is a great price. I'd rather have an expensive hair band than an expensive hair cut
