Because he ran away, probably. I'm not interested whats worse between Walker or Grealish both are bad. I'm only interested in whether they have learnt from their mistakes going forward.
I think ‘probably’ may be doing a lot of heavy lifting there in the absence of any actual evidence but I accept the broader point

I reckon some people on here would be shocked if they knew what some high profile players got up to in their private life’s.

In a Covid environment, both had potential for killing

Thats true but let’s say that happened. I think you would be going to Prison for just one of those actions.

One is breaking a code of behaviour the other breaks the law ang attracts a sentence.

Not that I think Grealish should not be signed by City because of any previous mistake.

Grealish's 'alleged' drink driving and history of speeding etc is a lot worse than Kyle Walker shagging about to be fair. An unfair comparison. I'm sure Grealish is a nice and amicable person to chat to, but he's also taken some truly awful decisions that could have easily killed someone. He really, and quickly, needs to mature. Not really sure what any of us gain from playing this down just because he could be putting on a blue shirt soon.
I am not fan of Mr Grealish, I would be delighted if we did not sign him but the dude is a young guy, with far too much money and an ego that has been spoon-fed by everyone around him from a young age.

He made a mistake, he will probably make more, but please don't take the moral high ground.

We have all F' up in our time, as long as he learns and moves on all is good.

Mate, I can hand on heart say I've never broken the law or done anything anywhere near as bad as that. Have you? I'm not one for crucifying people eternally for mistakes either, I'm just not personally one for forgiving them because they're good at kicking a ball either. It was a very recent misdemeanour so it's not unreasonable to mention it. If he matures and moves on, great.

Indeed. And getting away from Birmingham and the inevitable hangers on he will attract there may well be a positive in that respect

Must admit , I’m not getting where this rag connection is coming from, everything I’ve seen about him as a kid shows him being a mad Villa fan :- https://lifebogger.com/jack-grealish-childhood-story-plus-untold-biography-facts/
Maybe he was just going with the ABC line, or trying to appease the large bitter section of your fans with these anti City/pro rag comments ?
To be fair he was born in 95 And grew up in early 2000s
United were dominant in that period and had all the big name players etc
Now these kids who support villa/Everton etc will be looking at de bruyne and foden and that will influence their football

Young man with a shit load of money in doing something completely stupid shocker.
For all anyone knows, members of our current squad could drink/drive on a regular basis. Literally nobody knows.
What Grealish did was unforgivable, but that was then. He has clearly grown up and comes across well.

I did break the law, I was young and a dick, it was not serious but it was a wake up call, which I took.

People make mistakes, from all walks of life, in fact I would add if you have never messed up something is not right.

Learn and move on, that's what makes us better people.

Foden was an utter disgrace earlier this year, too worried about shagging when representing his country, guess what, he made a mistake, has learnt and moved on, that's what good people do.

Interesting because Kyle Walker shagging about during a pandemic was also reckless and endangered lives did it not? Also doesn’t have a great reputation from his ex about how he handles himself as father, given his lockdown behaviour it probably has some legs that story. Clearly not a great human, great player though and that’s why we have him
