I did break the law, I was young and a dick, it was not serious but it was a wake up call, which I took.

People make mistakes, from all walks of life, in fact I would add if you have never messed up something is not right.

Learn and move on, that's what makes us better people.

Foden was an utter disgrace earlier this year, too worried about shagging when representing his country, guess what, he made a mistake, has learnt and moved on, that's what good people do.

You were done for littering?

Interesting because Kyle Walker shagging about during a pandemic was also reckless and endangered lives did it not? Also doesn’t have a great reputation from his ex about how he handles himself as father, given his lockdown behaviour it probably has some legs that story. Clearly not a great human, great player though and that’s why we have him
Labeled by many of being one of the best signings of the Pep era

Mate, I can hand on heart say I've never broken the law or done anything anywhere near as bad as that. Have you? I'm not one for crucifying people eternally for mistakes either, I'm just not personally one for forgiving them because they're good at kicking a ball either. It was a very recent misdemeanour so it's not unreasonable to mention it. If he matures and moves on, great.
I have broken the law and done things as bad as that c*nt Jack. It have made me less judgemental and more forgiving in general.

Not even drink driving while having sex ? Must just be me ;-)

You'd think the lad's signed since days and already involved in a conspiracy pre match

Fucking hell, I genuinely can't believe that anyone thinks paying for a shag is a worse crime than drink driving.

Weird few pages.
It isn’t, it’s more than paying for a shag (illegal in its own right) though isn’t it considering it’s during a pandemic and lockdown. Shite father also. Drink driving is a shite crime however walkers behaviour at times isn’t on is it because there’s worse crimes? That’s weird

A way to make themselves feel better, I guess.
Again isn’t as bad, shagging a brass during a pandemic in lockdown isn’t great though is it. Don’t pick and choose what crime are ok based on their shirt colour

I never said it was! He was dumb as fuck and I was annoyed like the rest of us back then. I just think anyone who is claiming it's as bad as drink driving is being, to be frank, ridiculous.

Nobody has, it’s you and a few others trying to twist it that way. The comparison was Walker hadn’t behaved great off the field, it’s irrelevant considering what he brings to the pitch. Same with Grealish. It wasn’t saying the crimes are the same, it’s youngish idiotic rich men behaving badly

But they have. Someone in this thread have quite literally said its worse! There are actual posts saying that. My point was always at people taking umbrage with someone calling Grealish a bit of a dick. It's not an unreasonable thing to say, clearly.

If they have then apologies they are clearly stupid. Grealish maybe a bit of a dick, most footballers are unfortunately.

Jeez, I’m glad I’m not potentially signing for City, if my past misdemeanours were to be scrutinised by the BM faithful
You’d all go from thinking I’m a really nice, stand up guy who you’d be happy to date your daughters to thinking I’m a bit of a ****...
It'd all depend on your haircut for me, Pablo.

Because who in a million years would have ever been arsed about Kyle Walker shagging if the world hadn't suddenly decided to outlaw sex? It was stupid, yes, but just some dumb primal instinct from a youngish footballer living on his own, shagging youngish women. Selfish, defo, but if it literally happened a month earlier no one would have been arsed. I totally get why so many were disappointed, myself included, but drink driving has been illegal for all of my life for a reason. It's clearly worse as it can directly destroy entire families. Yes, covid can too, im aware. Walker's act was a stupid one, badly timed, that if it happened in two months, presuming restrictions are lifted, no one could care about. Anyway, im sure theyre both dickheads tbh. I just can't bide by the idea that drink driving isn't worse than a lockdown shag.
You're being disingenuous now. It's quite obviously not just about the shag. I don't care about the shag. I care that he flagrantly flouted the lockdown and social distancing regs and that it could have cost a life. Just like Grealish's fuck-up

I genuinely do not care what a player gets up to off the field as long as it does not impact their game on it. Drink driving is an idiotic stupid decision based on fuzzy thinking and laziness.

Paying for a bit of ruff involves consent from both parties. The history of said pro is not a concern. Most of our clothes or gadgets are made by undervalued workers.

I guess it all depends on your moral compass and were you draw the line.

Full disclosure, I once stole a flying saucer out of the pix n' mix at my local shop when the person wasn't looking.

I was nine, I liked sweets, I was hungry.

It's haunted me to this day.

I feel so much better for getting it off my chest after nearly forty years.

Grealish seems more of a flump kinda guy, but I won't hold that against him next season.
