I think there is more to this one. He's turned down Stoke (where he has family) to sign for City. I think if he impresses at Boro he will be given a chance in Pre Season or be loaned out to a prem club for a year.

City have completed the signing of New York City midfielder, Jack Harrison.

The 21-year-old has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal but will immediately join Championship outfit, Middlesbrough, on loan until the end of the 2017/18 season.
