I got a bit of a bashing off someone when I recently suggested City were terrified by FFP and cowering before Platini, but I think recent events have shown those rules and the inability to move deadwood have absolutely crippled us in the transfer market since the brass takes FFP so seriously (unlike some clubs). Luckily we have a good core group of players so we can't do a 1968/1969 again where we fooked up our title defence spectacularly, and will finish in the top 3 at the very worst.

The man has derided the club on countless occasions over the last 4 years,most recently 2 months ago so evidently the club have done nothing to shut the thick fuck up. It should only make the powers that be more determined to really test his ridiculously named FFPR. Unfortunetly they have gone the other way by the looks of things.

Youve got to have so many home grown players remember who else would you buy. Barry and lescott aren't getting any younger we've got hart, Milner, Richards and Johnson. Onuoha's gone so's Taylor and Bridge can be excluded.
