Jack Rodwell

Where was he in the recent USA games?

Is this an indication that he's about to leave or was he just injured?

Apparently could well be Sunderland.

Hopefully Sunderland as if they are wanting to pay £14m for borini then jack is worth £25m!

I never read that he was injured. It's quite interesting Manuel chose Zuculini over him, maybe an indication he doesn't have faith in Rodwell's reliablity with his injury issues.

I would loan rodwell out for a season and see if he can get a full season in injury free a fully fit jack rodwell would be a brilliant addition to our squad!

Unfortunately that boat has sailed and I think it would be in the best interests of everyone if he moved on to try and resurrect his career. Blighted by injury, and then trying too hard when he got a chance Jack will never be the player we all hoped he would be. We need to reduce the squad and get rid of the fringe players then allow Manuel to cherry pick a couple whilst waiting for our academy to start producing.

A move to Sunderland (permanent, not loan) is close according to the Mail. Sky Sports reporter also mentioned it before but they have no story up yet.

No fee was quoted, but my guess is it will be about £8m - £9m

Sunderland must have some money to burn if they were going to spend £15m on Borini

Would be fantastic business by us if we can get Sunderland pay close to £10m.
