Thought Rod was ok today on his debut, although he was at fault for their second goal.

He seems to have a tad more pace than Nigel and is a unit in the air for defending and attacking set pieces.

Marks out of ten for his performance?

Getting a lot of stick but he didn't do too much wrong except that pass. My only question is why was he the furthest back on the edge of the area? Surely it's common sence to leave someone on the halfway line.

Take the mistake which lead to their second goal out of the equation and he didn't look out of place at all. Looks more mobile than Barry, and certainly better on the ball, maybe not as defensively secure but on todays display he'll do just fine.

I'd definately say it was higher than a 6.5. The only thing that let him down was that blind pass, combined with their player reading it and them therefore scoring. Big mistake to be fair.

Overall though I thought he was quality, looks good in the Barry roll, looks athletic and is it just me who genuinely can't tell what foot he is?

He was great to say he's a young lad making his debut. Made one mistake and was punished. Looks excellent on the ball though.

Rodders had a good steady game on his debut. Apart from his mistake, he was calm, composed & showed a turn of pace I didnt realise he had. His touch was assured & he didnt look out of place. I wonder if we stepped up our interest in him after our interest in Biton ended. They're both big midfield units like Yaya.
