Jadon Sancho

The Compensation in this current market should be at least £10m-£15m for a player of Sancho's potential. Pity we're probably only going to get 10% of that. Hopes are that he sees Foden breaking into the side this pre season and has a change of heart.

He absolutely excelled in Holland, looking like a perfect player for City now & was fucked off to Wigan.

Nobody cared.

And of course if he can't make it playing amongst a bunch of no marks in a shit league then it 'proves' he would never have been good enough.
JB was never good enough to make it at City....I watched him on loan at Blackburn last season and he was miles off it in the championship....what gets overlooked with these young players coming through is their attitudes to the game and their desire to improve year on year.....and a lot don't have it its a simple as that....add in stupid salaries and and the desire is less again....a four year contract on £10k/week and they're millionaires overnight is it any wonder they don't give a shit if they make it or not

Jadon should give it one more year at City before making any decision on his future....it is just too early yet for the lad to put such pressure on himself.

He is so young yet and does not need to make any quick decision although he may well be getting pressured by others. Both Foden and Sancho will get opportunities next season and playing under the guidance of Pep will be great for both of them....and also playing with and learning from the likes of such brilliant footballers as Bernardo and David Silva.

The Sun reporting that City fear that Arsenal have won the race to sign Sancho.

Given that he has 1 year left on his scholarship deal I hope that this will be followed by a swift tapping up complaint and accademy signing ban.

Ridiculous to let him sign for Arsenal. We'll only have to buy him back in a few years time and we shouldn't be losing players to our feeder club.

Why would he want to leave unless he is a billy big boots? 17 years old and not willing to put the hard graft in to earn a place. Obviously not the type of youngster we need despite the obvious talent and I fear he will never get to the top if he is not willing to fight for his place on merit.

Maybe he just thinks he stands a better chance of getting first team opportunities at Arsenal.

I get the impression Pep is taking a few digs at Sancho when talking of Foden in the press. He's said a few times "he's a mancunian, he's a city fan" and I'm wondering if that's just him stating facts or taking subtle jabs at Sancho.

I think Pep's got other priorities than demoralising a 17 year old kid.

Yep I get the exact same impression.
