Instead of hiding away he should have the balls to talk to Pep about his future career.
He must be some idiot to leave City and Pep at this point. Needs to be patient and work hard.

There must be some problem within his personality and parents/advisers.
Huge talent. Reminds me of Nasri.

Even though he has to take a lot of responsibility himself, he must have been so badly advised over this. I can't believe his agent and parents have let it get this far.

Understand his agent is his Dad.

That's probably what he wants, so he can join a team for free without them paying us a development fee.

Assuming hes not got a mental health issue then just keep him as long as possible as an example to others.

Make an example of him, don't bow to anything he wants, give him a brutal training regime in terms of early starts etc and don't give him any game time with any squad. If he thinks he has any leverage at his age and stage of his career then it's time we got tough and show him just how insignificant he still is.

I wonder if Spurs are encouraging him to do this in the hope we simply let him go free or a smaller fee than we would otherwise get through negotiation or tribunal.

It all sounds a bit strange to me. First it was first team opportunities, then later on it was a story about homesickness. When you get different stories like that, the tendency is to think it is something else. Sam Lee has, this afternoon, tweeted that Sancho wanted more money. That sounds about right to me.

Unlikely to get more cash at Spuds the £35K A WEEK WE offered was a first teamers wage there.

He's been AWOL for over a month, do you think he's going to return if we decide to give him a brutal training regime and then don't play him at all?

Just let the sod go , taking his father or whoever with him.

Has been been identified as a potential Ballon D'Or candidate ?

Apparently he's going to Dortmund which is hilarious given he claimed to be homesick. Now that we know that's not the case I can't help but feel he fucked up the whole summer for himself

Grr...Make sure we have a hefty sell-on clause (if it's possible with youth players) on top of the transfer fee.
Wouldn't want him back unless he changes his attitude

I'm conflicted because I like following Dortmund but hate Jadon's attitude. At least he didn't go straight to another English club.

The only thing that can really be levelled at Sancho is his actions trying to get his move. Other than that, i can't fault the lad.

He is going to a club known for allowing young players to come through (With all the bias in the world, you'd have to agree we need to improve here, which will hopefully come in the next few seasons). I wouldn't be surprised if Dortmund offered less in wages, as their players are constantly picked up by rivals as they don't offer the same salaries.

Gutted to see a great talent go, but on the face of it, looks like the right reasons.

At 17 he wont get first team football be at least another 18 months to 2 years and that's if he performs! My betting is he will be sold to a London club next summer.
