Jadon Sancho

Anybody with a "goatee" like his shouldn't be playing here, I'm fine with that.

i get it ?? he is a talent but we are talking england level here and not the level manchester city or any of the top 10 teams at international level are at, also the media (bbc/sky) are working so hard for him and his agent ?? somebody got a lot of power and pulling strings like i have never seen before, and for a young player outside of man united or liverpool you think they would never touch him with a barge pole, never in the world would a youth player at man city get so much media time like sancho does

its smells of united all over this and would not surprise me one bit if he rocks up at the scum very soon, both are made for each other so big headed and think they are better than the rest ?? pep and man city are not wrong that many times ?? and when he wanted first team football and spat out the dummy when told your not ready it was (game over)

Foden seems to be receiving a lot of media attention; certainly more than his senior career so far deserves, IMHO.

maybe ?? but the bbc and sky are bending over backwards for sancho, somebody in the sancho corner got some power in the media at the top level and his stock must be full, foden time will come and hope to god we can nurture him and really hope we have a player on our hands for years to come

I don't think this is a City thing, Foden gets nearly as much attention, more so than Diaz for example. I thing they're getting giddy for England.

not at all

i just think he should have listened to pep and the man city coaches and when told he is not ready for first team football and should go back and work hard in the youth setup and show them he is ready, but spat the dummy out and him and his agent worked on him getting a move and holding city to ransom on give me what i want or am off ??? i hate young people that don't listen and spit the dummy out instead of going back and working hard to earn the right to that first team place, no bigger name in the game of football (pep) knows what he is talking about and when he feels your not ready and need more time in youth football then you listen and knuckle down

the lad has got talent and am not doubting he will play at a high level, but please let your feet do the talking and not your ego and agent, sorry talking yourself up does feel like mr big head and i know everything at 17 and am right ??? good luck to the lad and maybe he will show pep and city he should have been given the chance, but i have a feeling a leopard never changes its spots and whoever the lad plays for it will come at a cost ??

pep isn't always right. sancho has clearly shown he is ready for first team football as hes playing lots of games for dortmund. one of the biggest teams in germany. to be honest i dont think it was about ego. i think it was more about playing time. the reason pep wouldnt have give him a chance is because we spend 50/60 m on ready made players. at any other club then us or chelsea the likes of sancho and foden would be playing.

from his point of view. hes playing dortmund and in the england squad. i doubt he thinks that hes made a mistake in leaving city.

do you think what we are doing for diaz is good? as you say - working hard in the youth set up..... sat in the stands and not developing ?

Yeah, me too, mate.

I love young Phil and I really hope he makes it at City.

The media seem desperate for him to succeed and they’re talking him up like he’s the one great hope for the salvation of the national team.

My goodness. You hate young people that back themselves to do better in a different environment? Sancho took a gamble and it paid off extremely well for him. I hope he continues to shine.

sancho is not ready for full time first team football and bit parts from the bench is all he is getting at the moment and rightly so, but good luck to the lad

diaz is also not just ready and i think he clearly knows it and the couple of games from the bench this season have been patchy, matey if your manager of man city and the fans wanting silverware and titles and europe every season would you gamble on 3 or 4 youth players ??? unless your a messi your not going to take a place in this team ?? even the first 19 places in the first team squad are so so good and have to play week in week out, so at 17/18 why not take a bit of time around them to learn the game and improve from just being around them, nobody is asking you to jump straight in at the deep end and having to preform every week slowly and bring them on

so so wrong matey

football is a hard and sometimes a cruel game and and youth football is even worst ?? and when the top manager in the game thinks your just not ready you have to take it on board if you want to play at the top teams and get the best out of your talent and become a winner of medals then you listen, backing yourself and bevelling in your talent is ok, but please don't spit your dummy out and demand a place and force a move

taking a gamble when there was no need ?? and if you think it paid off well we will see in the long term?? i wish the lad well and all the luck in the world, i just think it was a gamble and to soon and how can anybody at 17 know the future, and being asked to do a man's job sometimes leads to burn out and many have been lost to the game because of wanting it all right now at 17
