Jadon Sancho

For me World class means every team on the planet clamoring for his signature. A must have signing.
I still see weaknesses, one of which as you say is questionable attitude.

Every team in the world would want Jadon Sancho.

Even if his " attitude " is not questionable, the finances do not add up for him to come back to City from what I understand.

Pretty sure what he is reported to be currently earning, would mean that he would demand a salary which would put him at a level where he would be competing with some of our top earners, and for that reason I cannot see City sanctioning such a deal.

Putting all other considerations to one side , I believe it was @tolmie's hairdoo ruled the signing out purely down to cost.

I agree. And i think that there are not as many of the worlds elite teams queueing as he may believe.

Doubt it. He is clearly available for the right price so let’s see if the likes of Barca, Madrid, Juve, Bayern are in for him.

Mate you really think there'd be teams who'd reject the chance to sign Sancho? Guarantee if Sane was staying at City and signed an extension, Sancho would be Bayerns next target. Barca/Real would love him. Juve too.

All depends on the fee really. At 70M every club would be in for him at 120M not sure who would pay that.

I'd be surprised if he leaves Dortmund this Summer tbh.

With the 8 mill received from Dortmund plus 15% discount, a possible 10-15 made from a Leroy transfer, plus 8-10 saved in potential wage increase, not to mention a fall in transfer fees in general, could see this deal make absolute financial sense, we’d be getting a talented English homegrown player, With 10 years plus in front of him, I’m sure he’s hungry to win trophies, he’s got Raz to guide him, and Pep to iron out any defensive inadequacies, what might feel like a huge gamble is in a fact a no brainer....don’t think I would cope with the rags snapping him up, you could almost predict the press clippings for the next 5 years

Confused by this post we not saving the 8 million or getting an extra 8
Million from already selling him no idea why you think we are saving 8 to 10 million in wages and we are clearly after a lot more than 10 to 15 million for Sané

Yes he deffo does still have weaknesses but i think he has quality on the pitch and pep would make sure he sorts his attitude out

Can’t see us going in for him tbh as we have more pressing priorities first. Remember our defence needs to be addressed and whether we like it or not we have to make up 20 plus points on the dippers . Think we can get through a season before we replace sane .

Apologies fella, I was simply trying to explain that this is no Pogba deal (I.e. paying £89 m for a player you let go for nothing) I’ll break it down for you as it may of been a bit vague:-
Sale of Sancho (widely reported) £8 mill received
Sale of Sane (expected) £10 million profit
Sane wages (widely reported) £4.7m P/A
Sane pred wage increase (for 2 years) £4.7m P/A
Price of Sancho (Estimated) £100 million
15% discount = £15 million
All a bit speculative I know but we are £50 million plus in the black. People are raving about Havertz but we’d be getting a better player with better stats, club trained, in a position where we need a replacement & for half the price....what’s not too like??

WTF!!! You're massively overthinking it. Neither Sancho's nor Sane's sale fees nor Sane's wages have anything to do with lowering his price you loon.

We have the option to match the highest bid, less 15% sell on clause, that's it.
