We all know they are going to pay it, they have gone too far now. Like they did with Maguire, Sanchez and so on.

Yep, and now we're seeing the effects of a "just pay what it takes" attitude to transfers. Hopefully some of our fans appreciate what a good job our club have done walking away from deals that didn't meet our valuation.

My gut feeling is that he burned his bridges at the club with his behaviour when moving away. It can’t be a footballing issue, he seems like a perfect fit for the way we play.
