Jadon Sancho

Martin Blackburn has spike about Sancho willing to come back if City show interest. It’s an absolute no brainer for me.

Worst case we make rags pay more
Then take 15% anyway!
True haha. But I think he’s a perfect Sané replacement. I know a lot is said about his attitude but he is 20 years old with the world at his feet. I think every kid in his position would be quite similar

He said, she said. Probably just agent talk to get United to pay up especially with CAS decision hanging over our head till July.

Sane is getting turfed out some would say for his attitude, this kid has a worse one!

According to who? How do you know this? You’d really turn down a 20 year old home grown winger that’s on course for 20 goals and 20 assists this season because there’s a rumour he has a bad attitude? I’d break the bank for him. Spend every penny on him and a centre back and go with what we have in midfield.

As much as I'd love Sancho back I don't see it happening and see this as just the papers filling empty space.

Should have posted the other part of the quote where he says that we are currently looking elsewhere and are not interested in Sancho.

We should go for him if we can. He’s a ready made replacement for Sane and will slot in to our front 3 very easily.

He’s young, already delivering in a decent league, and will only get better.

No brainer if you ask me

Nevee heard he had a bad attitude and in the interviews seen he hasn'y been negative about city, sterling, foden and other youth players have previously said they would love him back.

Hardly sounds like he upset people here and left to further his career, which tbf was a good move.

If Sane is off no issue for me if we get the lad back, rather we spent the money from Sane on him than the rumoured interest in courtinho.

I think re-signing Sancho for a huge sum would be a very, very bad move from PR POV. Would clearly show academy players they can use City's facilities and coaching, then leave without any repercussions in the future. 'If you're good enough, rich City are going to pay and buy you anyway' - the agents will say.

No, you should either fight for your place in the team or leave. No second chance.

Isn't that a good thing and a further attraction of our academy for promising players that they can get the best training and facilities and even if not always a direst route to the top it is still a pathway.

I agree this could send a dangerous message to our Academy players - once you hit 17/18, refuse all contract talks and transfer to a club which guarantees you a huge boost in salary and playing time from the off, then if you perform, simply get City to buy you back as a first team player.

There would be no point whatsoever in any promising Academy player staying at City and fighting for their chance to play, as Foden and Garcia (so far) are doing - which could end up costing the club a fortune in the long run.

Tempting though he may be, I'm not sure this transfer would be worth it.

He'd be our Pogba, for better or worse!
