Jake Livermore Alleged Cokehead

Very sad that his Son died, even sadder that he's using it as an excuse for being caught using Cocaine.

My mother in law died June 2009.
My wife died June 2010.
My mother died April 2011.
My only brother died July this year.

The nearest I have come to taking coke is in my Bacardi.

I have great sympathy for his loss, but please don't use that as an excuse.

my sons dead, i know i'll start sniffing coke, don't think so.

On a night out, trying to forget for a small amount of time and somebody offers you something to help? Not saying that is the case but a possibility.

A huge coincidence that he gets drug tested shortly after that - I seem to recall that coke doesn't stay in your system long.

I'm sick of this bullshit judgemental attitude from the English public. He's taken a bit of fucking coke, so what? Is he tied to a contract at our club? No. Is taking drugs in and of itself morally wrong ? No. So what exactly is the problem? It's his life and his career so he can do whatever he wants.

I had four family members die in the space of three months when I first moved back to Manchester. It wasn't my 'excuse' to start taking drugs but I did it anyway because I wanted to. I've never been a big drinker so you can keep those Bacardi's to yourself. It's just funny that putting shit up your nose gives everyone the right to chastise you but if you drown your liver with shite then you're just one of the lads.

How anyone thinks they have the ability to categorise what are acceptable ways for someone they don't know to deal with the loss of someone else who we will never know is beyond me.

I'll repeat: his life, his career, his son, his coping mechanisms.

And that sounds unreasonable because?... People drink, gamble, fight, cut themselves, cut others, take drugs, use prostitutes, turn to religion, turn to terrorism, hang/ shoot/ overdose themselves or jump off a bridge because they are unable to cope with the pain of loss. And you think it's unreasonable that someone has used a drug that gives you a huge rush of positivity and self confidence?

I've highlighted the part of your comment that stood out to me. Maybe you should make a fucking start.
