Jake Livermore Alleged Cokehead

Because everyone deals with everything in the exact same fucking way don't they.
You tell me, as you seem to be the font of all knowledge, because I don't know the answer. I certainly didn't go down the self-destruct avenue, but that's just me, and I can only relate to how I dealt/deal with it.

Yes. That's just you. It's not every person on the planet so why don't you keep your judgemental attitude to yourself eh? There's plenty of people on this very thread stating how they dealt with various different things.

Ooh, get you being judgemental about MY posts! How ironic.

Funny, I thought a forum was where you aired your own views and other people agreed or disagreed, but it appears that you prefer to go down the personal attack route.
Fine. That's your way. Good luck to you sunshine.

You're the one saying he is using the death of his son as an excuse.

I find that view appalling. You don't because you lack the empathy to understand that differing people will react differently to situations.

Firstly, try reading my original post. Where did I say that I am "saying he is using the death of his son as an excuse" My final line was "I have great sympathy for his loss, but please don't use that as an excuse". That wasn't aimed at him, but at other posters' comments. However, that, in your view, shows a lack of empathy, does it?

Secondly, and once again, you are being extremely judgemental about me, without even knowing me. Of course, people react differently to tragedy - I've had to counsel both my children when their mother and grandparents died in a short period of time, and recently my brother's family whilst sitting at his bedside watching him die of cancer. Each time, I've had to deal with my own demons. Obviously, I have a heart of stone

Thirdly, I've read through this entire thread. There are many more comments regarding Livermore which I thought were a little over the top, but refrained from commenting. Perhaps you can, once again, pick up your sword of righteousness and take them to task.

Finally, a point which, in my opinion, sheds a great deal of light on the facts surrounding this case. According to an Independent article yesterday, Livermore failed a drugs test on 25 April after a win at Palace. His son died stillborn on 19 May following a caesarian operation. The gist of the article was that this tragedy, and no-one can dispute that it was a tragedy, caused him to take to drugs. However, he failed a drugs test almost a month previously, so how can this be used as an reason not to ban him?

Your serve.

If he failed the drugs test before his son died then in my opinion, it shouldn't be a reason not to ban him.
