Yeah, I’m sure they did a gig there. There were on at The Festival of the 10th summer I think too in 86 but not the big Gmex gig, a smaller one the week before. I think that’s right.

I can remember almost nothing about Cities in The Park myself. Was tripping my tits off on Strawberry Acid all day.

Saw them in Edinburgh in the summer
Good gig great festival band but not much chat
Spoke to the tour manager after it and she said the hate playing their greatest hits set and prefer newer experimental stuff

Went to see James the other night for the 40th anniversary tour.
They had an orchestra and choir, and reworked some of their songs.
It was different, but still brilliant. Singing along to different versions of some classics and enjoying some older ones I didn't know.
James seem to get better every time I see them.
They didn't have a support band and did two sets.
Thoroughly enjoyed the concert, so many great songs.

I was there Tuesday. Brilliant performance. Tim and Chloe singing 'Hello' was amazing. Went to the York gig too and next stop Piece Hall in July. Superb live band.

Gutted to have missed this tour. I saw them when they did the orchestra tour last time and it was great.

Still out there on their own as the best live act on planet Earth.

Seeing them in Darlington this summer, supported by Editors, Maximo Park and The Pigeon Detectives.
Ticket was only about £40 after all the fees, incred value for what is a perfect line up for my tastes.

And I'm sure Darlington is a delightful place....

When they did a gig on top of picadilly bus station I said to a lad I worked with I am going to jack work at lunch if its the Mondays as it was unknown who was playing. He went when it was announced that it was James. I stayed at work and nearly chopped my finger off from the knuckle . Ended up in a stockport hospital. Been a James fan ever since .
