Given Forests interest in McAtee, I still think we should have done a deal for MGW. It was just right there, on a plate.

Sorry if wasn't clear....meant that I saw a post on X from a supposed Forest ITK stating the above info....not that I have a contact of any sort. Though, to be fair, I probably know about as much as 99% of the people on there, which for the record, is the square root of f**k all :)

And it didn't mention about any buy-back or sell-on....which is not to say there isn't one...but even if there was, I can't see a world in which it would ever be needed...just a personal opinion, but don't see him as that great to be honest. Has a very good instinct for sniffing out where to be to get chances (which I appreciate is admittedly a skill in itself)...but don't think he does the basics well enough, or even has the self-confidence or belief to belong at our first team level.

Imho he hasn't hit the heights he should be at. Unfortunately his ability will only take him to a Sheffield utd or forest.
Getting 30m for an academy product is amazing business yet again.
