I'm sure they would, which is why my preference would be for him to stay in Manchester and start his first-team career proper.
It will be tough no guarantee that McAtee will ever make it, only Zinchenko after been loaned able to make it to our first team and he only become a squad player not a regular starting player, not saying McAtee and Zinchenko is similar quality wise but it's still difficult for McAtee. It's alll up to him next season if he stay and fight for his place like Zichenko did and maybe it will be succesfull than Zinchenko does, time will tell next season if he given a nod to stay.
