James McAtee

Went for the easy option as in where he has been before and knowing the fan love him comfort zone! You can understand why but he would of been better of at Leicester!

Playing in the PL trumps the Championship by a country mile regardless of if it's a relegation dogfight or not I'd have thought.

I think it will be tough for him but if he grafts he stands a good chance of playing. Workrate trumps size and if he can emulate the likes of Bernado for effort then he will be ok. His ability to carry the ball should suit the playing on the break style that the Blades will probably adopt.
He's 5'11" and I dare say last season put some muscle on him anyway, add in his technical skills and he'll be fine.

Not in a team who don't play football who won't have the ball much plus getting beat nearly every week will bring negativity to his football confidence mentality! Will come back next season to city with a lot of work to do to get him playing confidently.. another thing if we thinking of selling him being in a team who go down will knock his fee down!

Or it will toughen him up?

I'd agree 100% to the reason he is as far away as he is currently from our first team is although he did shine at times last season its not the premiership ,

I've just been looking at City's Lineup from the 2020 Youth Cup Final, especially as this was apparently our most talented crop, and I was forever reading all manner of giddy predictions.

We know all about Palmer, McAtee, Doyle, and Harewood Bellis, whereas Delap has started to score a few goals in the Championship.

The others have mainly found their level, but the one I'd completely forgotten about was Jayden Braaf, who at the time, was arguably the most hyped.

I really wanted to see him go to Ajax on loan. Would've played a decent amount in a possession based team. Alas, the boy chose what he chose. Wish him all the best and hope he stands out in their team.

Jayden Braaf - another player who thought he was better than he is? I did think he was quite good at City but now seems to have fallen by the wayside.
