James Milner

Unfortunately Milner isn't a top four player. He was at his proper standard at Villa, a decent player in a team who'll finish 6th or 7th. I said that numerous times when it was rumoured we were gonna sign him, £12-15million would have been about right or get someone top shit it for £25m!

He does work hard, credit to him, and I do like him, but I don't think he'll be an important player for us over the course of his contract!

Not good enough for where we want to go. Neither was Ireland but what a waste of £16m of whatever it ended up being.
Lets judge all signings after 2 Months.

Please stop being so fickle.

"runs" like he is carrying a fridge freezer on his back! Passing was atrocious today! From what I have seen if him since he joined he doesn't look technically good enough for us! Hope it's him just struggling to settle in and I am proven wrong but far from impressed with him so far!

But he made the second most important contribution to the game today for city, before you ask no i dont rate him, but he saved us from a loss today simple as

I will be honest and say, I was one of the lads on here that didnt want to see Milner join us, He is a blue now so am going to get behind him 100%, I dont agree with people getting on his back already they lad is only in the door, He's playing totally different football under Mancini than he was with O'Neill at Villa it will take him time to adapt altough he isnt having the best of starts, Id love to see him proving a few of us wrong.

In good typical City style he is not working out here, I just can't for the life of me understand why. I know he's not optimal on the wing, but this poor? Really? Another horrible overpriced player so far. Quite embarrassing bunch of transfers these past years.

Lets hope he improves. Duh.
