Milner is a good player who is out of form. He had a terrible game today. Everything he did was frankly shite. Needs a spell on the bench. We were screaming for AJ today to replace him at half time, i cant understand why RM or Kidd could not see this. AJ (supersub!!) cant be expected to shine given only 10 mins. Did he touch the ball? Our only wide player was our left back.
Finally, why did we think, after going 1 up with 10mins to go, that we could knock the ball around like Barcelona at the back when we could of gone for the throat! Would the scum of sat back ? would chelsea sit back? lessons to be learned.

i know the money we paid for the lad was excessive, and warrants better performances than he's been giving, but give him a chance for god's sake. he's not alone in being below par, and he's 3/4 months into his career under a new manager in a new team that's stil gelling itself. he'll always get stuck in, and i've got faith that his work ethic will eventually lead to him showing his ability. he didn't get young player of the year for being shite.
(really hope he did actually get young player of the year and i've not imagined that!)

Milner will turn out to be a very good player for City, I have no doubts about that.

That pissed me off as well. That should have been done when injury time kicked in not with 10mins to go.
Also the Jo substitution was too late, substitutions that late need to be after about 1 - 2 minutes so that it breaks up play and kills time.

He was poor today, no debating that, but I think people need to give him a bit more time and calm down a bit. Last year some people were slagging De Jong. You would give a manager over 12 months (which you should) but you won't give a player 6 months. Some people need to give their head a wobble.
