James Milner

Nobody has ever given 110% it's impossible.

The bookies gave me 110% profit the other day. :]

But in all seriousness, if you watch a player regularly and note his "normal" level of effort, and then on a specific occasion he increases this level of effort, it could be argued, quite reasonably, that he has put in 110% of his usual effort.

But I know what you mean...

feel sorry for him, he should be in the team playing in barrys position.

he got player of the month last year than mancini just dropped him, I think its more to do with mancini not liking him rather than his ability. ala bellamy

Think he would be twice the player he is now if he had been played in his true position CM consistently when we signed him and not on the wing. He is not a winger.

No. When he partnered Yaya as the duo, the midfield could be easily overran. Milner's not a holding midfielder and Yaya cannot hold it alone, unlike Nigel.

Surely you should know by now that if you aren't Hart, Kompany, Yaya, Silva or Aguero then you're going to be rotated?

Mancini knows who our best/key players are and always plays them, the rest are part of a squad and he rotates when see's fit.

I can see Milner getting games before/after CL games where we're going to have to rotate between Nasri and Silva with Sinclair and Milner. He'll also get games in the league cup and FA cup as well as be used as a wing back, right/left mid or central midfielder throughout the season. His versatility will see him get enough playing time.

However if he doesn't perform he won't get picked. I couldn't watch the Liverpool match at the weekend due to work so I can't comment if he deserves to keep his place in the team this week.

Very good CM, and average winger.

Nope, average CM, average winger, but a physical beast who can give 100% for 90 minutes, that's why he is an asset when you need a sub impact. He is the perfect proffesional, just as Zaba, you can be sure they'll give all they have hen they're in the pitch.

If Sinclare get a start ahead of him then I'm pretty sure he will be off at the next transfer window.
