James Milner

his worst match I could remember.. not playing much obviously affected his game, he's not close where he has been and it's not only today, he was pretty bad on EURO for england

He came on in the 82nd min today.

He came on in the 82nd min today.

And in that time he had 3/4 chances to find a man in the box to finish the game and didn't deliver.

He works hard and will be useful at certain times in certain games but he is not a regular starter.

I don't disagree, but how anyone can say it was somebodys worst match after 10 mins, of football is beyond me.

Can be a useful squad player if he is prepared to accept this.

I'm sure he is, he is top professional.

I remember someone from England team saying that they were all pissed about FA's choice for team base while they were in SOuth Africa as they were away from any big city and felt boring. He said that it only didn't bother Milner and that he could probably stay there for another 2 months without saying a single word.
That's why it is so hard not to love Milner, despite his lack of quality. Still I think it's better for him to drop down somewhere like Everton, Villa or Newcastle. He may not win trophies, but he will play every game. It's a hard decision to make.

Looked more too me to be honest but he was definitely dire. Trying and all that as always, he never gives but 100% but it was a mare.

IMO next one to request a move. :-(

I like him gives his all. Hopefully he will play his full part but starting to get the feeling he is being sidelined.

Agree how an anyone judge someone after being on for barely ten minutes, a player that doesnt have a regular run of games in the side, which will inevatebly effect his play

please dont leave jimmy :(

He's a millionaire......dont feel sorry for him. He will be a squad player filling diffeent positions. And if he's not happy with that, he can always get a move next summer

He is a footballer and in any other team he is more than a squad player - if we want to have a decent team one that can compete acorss all competitions then we need players like Milner otherwose these players will just fook off.

I dont care how much he earns i care about the team and man management is key to a successful team

He can be quite good. I remember him putting in a cracking performance at the swamp and playing well in a number of games around that time.
