James Milner

I couldn't disagree more. He has improved significantly. His first year with us was poor. His second year had its moments like the 6-1 and Chelsea away. But now he is taking those heights and improving on them, but importantly doing so consistently
The difference isn't his play or his effort, it's what he's being asked to do. It's more effective and it's more noticeable. The improvement is the manager's for picking a more suitable role and in some respects also ours as fans for noticing his effort.

I don't think I've ever seen Milner or Zab put less than 100% into whatever they are asked to do. In fact today you could see something physically drain from the team when Kompany was sent off and everything slowed down, but Milner and Zab never stopped. Hats off to them.

Milner is like Zabaleta with added attacking abilities.

Fucking non stop mithering in the defensive phase and very impressive in the attacking phase.

Knows where the goal is and isnt afraid to shoot on site.

I'm not sure about that... a few times in that last 15 minutes I was thinking good job lads, keep passing it around the defence... then bang, ball reaches Zab and he's going full tilt down the line.

At one point it seemed like Milner and Barry tried to trap him in the corner before he tried to go for a solo goal.

Allot of our attacking is because he links with Silva and Zabba and bangs in the cross! Great player and the finish today fuck me wouldn't of been out of place coming of Falcaos foot.
