James Milner

With not much happening at the moment City wise, following on from the Germany game today, I'd just like to follow up on previous posters who said Milner is technically just as good a player as Mueller. Just wondering if they'd like to re-visit that view?! ;-)

Muller probably has a bit more acceleration as he has longer legs. He's also better at heading the ball, because he's taller, but that's about it.

I rate Milner very highly .. if he had played more in midfield in these last few years, he'd be on the same level as Iniesta by now. Instead he was put on the right which hasn't been good for his development. He doesn't want to play as a right midfielder for the next 4 years, that's why he wants to leave. I understand his frustrations and if he doesn't sign the contract I'd sell him to a foreign club. Replacing him won't be easy though as players in his mould cost around £30-£40 million nowadays.

Piss take....

Hahahaha

I wish it was a wind up, but I've got to say that represents the view of an awful lot of posters on here.

I'm not saying that he should have been allowed to play in his preferred position but I'm just saying.

I'm sorry that you can't see it. But Milner is really in the mould Iniesta, he really is. You will probably only find out when he signs for Everton or something.

Player don't perform to their best ability if you don't play to their strenghts, we rarely play to Milners strenghts and so you haven't seen him at his best. Watch the clips the clips from his time at Aston Villa if you want to know what he's like.
