He definitely appears quite bitter about his time at City. I was talking to a mate of his a couple of weeks ago and he implied that Milner thought the club had kept him waiting too long before finally making him a 'decent' offer. I'm guessing he knew Liverpool/Rodgers wanted him and would pay him big money to go plus he was promised a central midfield role. To be fair to him, I think it's probably worked out ok overall with Klopp coming, he's a pivotal player for them albeit not in central midfield and he's playing in a major European final.
