James Stannage

Paul Nolan a top bloke underneath the surfice, he has entertained me no end the past 20 years and anyone who can wind a rag up the way he can is alright in my book, though to this day he still has a picture of himself and George best hanging above his mantle piece, he was a staunch red untill the late 70s then turned from the dark side and travelled the country watching anyone, yes he's a loud mouth but he knows more about football than anyone ive ever met, and that includes ex pro's........ Linking this with stannage, was a fantastic show in early 90s and the banter before all this political correctness was brilliant, the amount of times I've heard of Nolan and stannage fighting in the street i'd need 10 sets of hands.

I think it was fat chance refering to mr Williams earlier in thread, one thing I will tell you Paul is a Great survivor, and the reason he hasn't had his head caved in is simple, he knows the right people, and alot of people have time for the bloke, me included.
