Not really sure what that has to do with City getting some of the best catering going

I have always been a Jamie Oliver fan. Got the cookbooks and even the DVDs and find it very admirable how he has tried to help those less advantaged than himself with his Jamie's Kitchen programme etc

However i have been to his restaurant in Manchester 3 times now and have to say i have been very disappointed each time. Pasta was dry and stuck together and an Italian lamb stew that when served to me actually contained no lamb!

I very much hope there is a huge gastronomic improvement at the Etihad

What a week £62 for a ticket no more real food.
The game is finished as we know it.
His place in London was sh@te I walked out after starter which i would not give to the dog

Everyone seems to have missed the partnership bit . Legends are the mass catering big event experts and will probably be the main partner for the food most of us buy

every f@cker that bought one of his books

I'd love to see him do one of his challenge programs at City.

Complex task of balancing the requirements of the boardroom, the general fans and the City Square guys where he has to feed a big stadium.

City aside, it would make a cracking TV program that I'd watch. Also, better food at City can never be a bad thing

A top bloke who has actually made something of his life and given hundreds of kids an opportunity to work in the industry.

It's a great move by City as he fits in with their profile of giving the disadvantaged a chance to improve and better themselves.

Oliver is a very clever businessman. He does not profess to Ramsey, Atherton, Wareing.

But whilst all those guys are brilliant chefs, Jamie is counting the dollars.

He has a truck at Euston doing food and if that is anything to go by, us Blues are getting a very good upgrade indeed.

Pukka, as Jamie would say.

This. All day.

Don't get the hate for him at all. Yes, he has an unfortunate manner about him, but unlike other young millionaires he has actively tried to make a difference to others' lives, people to whom life has been less fortunate than himself.

I have a few chefs as personal friends and they all hold him in much higher regard than most of his peers on TV.

I paid £6 on Saturday for fish and chips ( I assume it was goldfish given the size of the portion) at the stall behind the North Stand and was left wholly unsatisfied by the experience.

This is another piece in the jigsaw of moving this club forward on all fronts to become a truly global presence in the game. I realise some of our supporters miss the Greenall Whitley and Waggon Wheels of yesteryear, but I'm more of a 21st century man myself.

the first day jamies restaurant in manchester opened me, my wife and daughter went for lunch, which was i have to say very nice.

unfortunately my wife and daughter have been since and found the food to be very disappointing on two seperate occasions. also a few friends have had bad experiences at jamies, let hope he gets his act together and doesnt take his eye off the ball like he has in the manchester restaurant.

the southern lisping wanker

The standards at the Manchester Jamie's appear to be below the rest of the group. I have eaten at the Brighton and Leeds outlets, among others, and had a great experience every time.
