Not the player we need. He exploits space with his pace on the counter; wouldn't suit playing #9 for a possession team like us. Sterling should be developed into the vice-Aguero, with Iheanacho also there.

The only way Vardy could be of any use to us would be as a Navas-type wide player to stretch teams with his pace, but it's better for him to enjoy his fairytale rise with regular first team football at a midtable club than be a seldom-used squad player here.

Maybe he is. Good luck to the lad he is playing out of his skin but I doubt if we will still be talking about him as a target come May or June.
Given his age and our likely requirements for next season little or no chance we will be in for him.
 
He's happy at Leicester.
He's on course to get a spot for the Euro's.
He won't displace Aguero.
Leicester will want a kings ransom for him.
He's 29.
His game relys on pace so the chances are he's got 3 years at most in him.


Apart from that I think he'll join.
 
Decent player but nowhere near our level. I think good season this year but maybe not next year we shall see? Definitely not ever going to be city player!

Have watched him in a few non City matches this year. His story reminds me some athletes other sports.... Dennis Rodman comes to mind. Players who for reasons of poverty or circumstance, never developed in organized sports. But who play with a kind of relentless fire and just don't give up. It's a great thing to see.
