What I wanted to say was that these guys having the same nationality doesn't necessarily mean they'll instantly get on really well with each other and understand each other. They may not even speak the same language (forgetting English, which I'm not sure whether Jan does speak).

I believe you may find this applies to all nationalities, not just Belgians. ;-)

Most Flemish people speak French, English, Dutch, their own dialect and German or Spanish so I'm sure they'll find a language to understand each other.
 
Ajax have a far superior academy to the rags though, pumping out top talent over and over again rather than living off one golden generation from 2 decades ago while pumping out decent, OK, pretty good, mediocre, and crap players ever since.

Mind: Rafael VDV says he "feels" it's a close deal and states that the Spurs asked him his opinion on JV.

Furtheron he states that JV should choose Spurs cos it would be the rational thing to do.
 
He's came out and said that he wants us (spurs) but Ajax want a lot of money for a player who contract runs out in a year.
