With the threat of a possible transfer ban looming, I wonder if we need to bring forward some spending to January. If it looks like we'll get a 12 month ban then I think we absolutely need to get in another CM/DM and a left back before that happens.

If any truth in this somebody's fucking head needs to be on the block. Isn't this the second time we have been accused of not conforming to the rules regarding the signing of youth player(s) ?

Manchester City have joined Liverpool in being banned from signing academy players for tapping-up two schoolboys – including one aged just 11. City were given the same length suspension as the Anfield club, a two-year transfer embargo on players registered with a rival Premier League or EFL side in the preceding 18 months, with the second year’s ban suspended for three years. Some people in the academy set up got the push last time. So why are we apparently doing it again? Is the proposed ban on ALL transfers or just youth?

We shouldn't be getting into this kind of trouble full stop !

This is the second time, and somebody is due a bollocking at best , or sacked .

How many times do these people need to be warned ?

We are supposed to be a well run club and this sort of thing damages our reputation ( no matter whoever else is doing it ) imo.


And the fucking media will make a 7 course meal out of it .

I think the overall goal with all these bans is for City to have the nicest academy that nobody uses.
