not for me i think old father time has caught up with these two, i do not blame Totty`s troubles on these two though, that is the manager and goalie

I’ll be honest I think John stones is probably Everton standard and that’s its . When we signed him his potential was the main reason but apart from prob half a season were he was Good the rest has been average which may be ok for a top six team team but for a team that has aspirations for winning the champions league and dining at the top table with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona then I’m sorry but he falls way short and that is why that one injury to Laporte has derailed us so significantly that is has cost us the title. Everyone on here has there own opinions has to who to pick and drop and we are all knowledgeable on our team and support it with a passion but I think the majority are as one in thinking our defence is mainly shocking and that includes the left back aswell. As for Kyle Walker I think he has one more season at the top with us as i can see a decline in him from even last season.

So i take it you are of the opinion we bought Stones because he is English? Stones already had injury problems and was known for mistakes when we bought him, what has changed in your opinion to the player Pep made a bee line for and paid a British record.
Personally i like Stones he is the only one who gets the ball down uses the goalkeeper, always tries to find a player, he does make mistakes especially coming back from injuries, Laporte is our best defender but Stones is our best footballer in defense

I'd have to disagree. Some of the best through balls direct to the winger have come from Laporte. He also hits great cross field balls to the wingers to open up the space. I think he's not only our best ball playing CB but probably the best in the league.

Enough of Jonny Evans, Vertongen or Alderweireld. We don’t do temporary solutions, we invest for the future. I’d rather not do any deals at all in january before going after these guys. It’s just more dead weight for the club.

Both Barcelona and Real are circling Skriniar right now. We should just hijack him asap.
He is exactly what we need. Imagine the defense with him, Laporte, Mendy and Cancelo.

Maybe he is but we need a defender to defend and he isn’t really doing great at defending at the moment.ive followed stones since he was a right back at Barnsley many years ago and was over the moon when we signed but apart from maybe half a seasons worth of good games he has not been good enough . Of course he is not at the same level as Laporte he is a different type of player were Pique and Puyol the same level?

You could only ever imagine even if Skrinny Pete signed... It's in Mendy's contract apparently he can't play more than 2 matches in a month absolute max.

Stones is a very good player with the ball at his feet, but he is a defender and in my humble can't defend when the pressure is on.
