January predictions

We want Heskey. A ready made Premier League veteran whose goal ratio puts critics to shame. One word to describe Heskey is World Class. We as a nation are so lucky to have witnessed Heskey piling his trade here at his very,very best.

£3-4 mill for bridge,we can't shift him on a free.
 
Don't expect any world class signing in January unless City pay way over the odds. Think a Pre-agreement with Napoli for Lavezzi would be a good move for both.
 
Lavezzi would be great but cannot see him leaving Napoli in Jan, despite them signing a possible replacement for him recently. As a direct replacement for Tevez then I'd love us to sign Cavani (I'm still not too sure that Dzeko will become a great target man for us. I think we need someone like Drogba was in his pomp, and Cavani has looked superb in the few games I've seen him in this season.)

If we can go for players like Hazard and Reus then we should have enough attacking midfielders/wingers in our squad to have a full assault on the Champs League next season. I'd love us to sign Muller though.

I hope we do sign a centre back in Jan, Kolo will be off for a month, Savic is learning fast and hopefully will live up to his potential as the next "Vidic". We only really have Kompany and Lescott with Savic as a young back-up. I'd like to see us sign Hummels, but maybe a pre-contract for the summer sorted now. Alex seems a good shout as a quick fix for a few months, perhaps ?

As for midfield, De Rossi keeps being linked, Javi Martinez also seems like a long term replacement for Barry. It would be great if we could sign someone like Schweinsteiger though, but he will be a one club player.
 
Latest from Bert seems Ned, Bridge and Tevez out no links with Hazard if we shift at least 2 of these players I expect us to go for De Rossi we could agree everything as far as a deal is concerned but will he leave Roma?

De Rossi and Cerci, plus maybe Chivu if Kolo leaves or Savic goes out on loan.

I think de Rossi is a goer, and could defo see chivu coming as he'd be cheap but experienced.

I'd much prefer Lavezzi or Hazard over Cerci but just can't see us getting either in January, therefore Cerci being a cheap option to get us through until the summer.

Is it worth spending now to get us through to summer though rammy? With the table the way it is at no bobby is in a strong position with regards any players he wants in now surely? Huge chance to win the title and if we got say... De Rossi, hazard and chivu and got rid of Carlos, ned, bridge then that would be a good window?
 
1 or 2 in at most and I would be happy with none, the fact is we do not want to disrupt a good squad and great season. Signings could easily do as much damage as good. Those wanting 4 or 5 signings are off their rocker!

I think de Rossi in his current situation is a must if he's interested! If he becomes a free in the summer then it's gonna be a huge auction for him and the rags would be right in the mix. Would also like a top cb in as well but maybe that's just me being greedy but de rossi should be a priority!

I think if it did go down to the summer , City would be in pole position because they have a Italian manager and many Italian staff and the fact they showed the most interest in him and City may be the only team willing to pay his wages.
 
If e offload Tevez, and a few more hopefully, I think we'll be looking at two signings. I hope De Rossi is one of them, and the second one might very well be Cerci.
 
Would like to see Jesus Navas, but any genuine pace hazard/lavezzi/cerci welcome.
A midfield general De Rossi/Gerrard/Fellani etc....
I think Samba at blackburn would give us an added dimension. def/att set pieces.

not sure we are becoming predictable,just not putting our chances away,if we had beat sunderland 4-0 yesterday i dont think anyone could argue with that,just need a little rub of the green
 
We need a fourth striker. He doesn't have to be fourth choice, for me we should go out and get the best we can.

We need pace in wide areas (Nasri is wasted out wide).

We need pace in defensive mid.

But we can't go and sign every player Napoli has (Cavani, Lavezzi, Inler) :) I don't think they'd go for it and I don't think their players would move until the summer anyway since we're in different Euro comps.
 
Would love to see us signing Christian Eriksen from Ajax or Marko Marin from Werder Bremen.
