was told this one was more advanced than the matic deal and maybe ties in with lescott looking likely to leave?

No BS but Zouma can slide into RB, he's never had to slide into a CM position but he's not afraid to move forward with the ball.

People saying RB. But IMO, we don't need another one. Zabba is mostly fit and still have some hope for Richards. But that can wait till summer. We need a another top CB, preferably someone who could also fill in at RB (Otamendi etc..). Another CM to help Ferna and Yaya.

Yes mate. Garcia could hold up any move for matic as the part exchange was the ultimate card for us. Coincidence that javi's agent coming out saying he wants to stay? Also protecting his money if/when he left. Matic, otamendi in with lescott, garcia out and guidetti out on loan would be a great window for us.
