We won't be keepin' Crocky, Jo, Bridge or Vieira beyond December surely. - Have a horrible feeling that Given will also piss off and leave us in the lurch too. (All of whom are currently in our 25 man squad)

Thus leaving us with no option but to strengthen in all departments come January imo

Depending on our position the only place i can see being strengthened is up front.

Unless we suffer a serious injury to one of our key men i wouldnt sign anyone in january and let this squad to there stuff because i beleive we have the squad to win the league.

We still not looking convincing yet. We need to start turning the poor performances into victories and I think the Sunderland result has said something about our credentials even at this stage of the season.

i think that's more a matter of the players we have not having a chance to bed in rather than our lacking strength in depth (unlike previous seasons). i still think this year will be rather uneven, and it won't be until next year-when we have a relatively settled squad and clearly defined roles--that we really see what we can do (although i do expect us to make the CL this season).

sensible that, give him time to prove his fitness with the dippers, then pounce in January if all's well - if were anywhere near the top 4, around that time, sure he'll sign.
