Watched a bit of the Celtic game yesterday. Made appreciate how calm and composed Denayer is on the ball.
I was going to comment how he didn't actually play yesterday but I'm guessing you mean compared to the ones who did?
Yeah Celtic were a mess at the back compared to the previous games when Denayer and Van Dijk played together.

Denayer has done amazingly well considering his lack of games at any decent level & the fact that Celtic are very badly organised at the back.

A bit iffy positionally & caught out occasionally, but some of his actual defending & ball winning is really very promising indeed. Plus he has the pace to get back & rescue situations. Very composed on the ball.

Still a way to go before we can look at him as a first team player, but it will be very interesting to see how he looks a year from now. Great loan this.

Played their whole game against Dundee as it finished 1-1. Their Dutch defender didn't play at all, so I hope he will leave on deadline day, that would mean Jason has a great chance to maintain his place in the first eleven.

Does anybody know how he did today?

Not that good but to be fair he had two players either side who have been genuinely awful since returning from the World Cup.

Did get easily out-paced in the second half once which was disappointing. I think that after the international break we will have a more settled team and you'll see him get a run of 7 or 8 games in a row where we can really judge him.
