Jason Manford

Against my better judgement, I found myself watching the variety show on ITV. I never knew Jason Could sing, let alone so well. And what a refreshing performance as compare ( unlike what we usually get with for e.g. tired Tarbucky presenters - I mean Jimmy not Lisa - see Upstart Crow ) Best joke so far IMHO to zoom audience "its like staring into Dixons Window !"
Seems like a decent bloke too me.

Saw Manford at the Apollo during the world cup. Did a joke about scousers during his warm up that I'll never forget.

He's a very solid if unspectacular comedian for me. Got a bit bored listening to stories about his kids after a while but I had a lot of fun otherwise.

I do appreciate his craftsmanship though. I think it's very difficult being a top family friendly comedian and he's better than most.

He never appears to be up his own arse unlike some so called comedians.

Well, due to reading that, I decided to check it out on ITV hub (& it was entertaining) but I've been getting stick for admitting this on another thread!

I went to see him on his last tour. I really like him!

Has the same outlook on life as I do (although I don’t have kids, whereas he has, erm, a few haha) and some of the things he talked about on his last tour really struck a chord with me.

Add humour to that and you have a winner!

I was his support act on his 1st national tour. The most down to earth man you will ever meet. Uses his profile to raise money for little known charities, such as local hospices. And loves City

I have never met him but can certainly imagine he is like that. I like the fact that he engages with people on Twitter and uses the platform to simply have a laugh. Not up his own arse like many others.
