Javi's agent has just been on Italian media stating that his client is perfectly happy at the champions, has no plans to leave and will 100% be at City next season.

That's called touting where I am from

Sadly, javi will be gone if Fernando rocks up!!!

You may be right. Why is his agent on Italian media?

I nearly asked that question then realised he's probably got players out there???? Anyway, the conversation still landed on javi, he'd actually be a belting signing for a top 3 club out there, pace suits him to the ground!!!

fixed :)

I don't mind him staying another year as long as we can fit him in the non-HG places, he might have to miss out on CL though.

dislocate his fucking thumbs and kneecap him the tayting ****!

I think he should stay for cover. Right now we only have Yaya and Dinho and that's clearly not enough. Can't keep playing these 2 in every game. Hurts their performances. Expect Fernando to be signed but without Garcia that would leave us with only 4 CM's(Don't count Rodwell because he's never fit). Think that leaves us very thin. Garcia gives us another option and all the elite teams have multiple options for every place. While technical we had 2 for every spot but many of them were consistently injured or just aren't of the quality needed. Now is we sign another CM besides Fernando then fine he's surplus to requirements but thought he played well down the stretch.

Why would he be gone? Four CMs: Fernandinho, Yaya, Fernando and Garcia ... Rodwell will either be sold or go out on loan

I can see Garcia staying another year and even possibly getting on the CL squad list. When you think about it we have Kompany and MDM at center back right now. Not sure about Nastasic, but because Javi can play both CB and DM it may be Fernando or Fernandinho that gets left out. Whatever the case we would need all 3 when Yaya goes to the ACON.

To accomodate Sagna, Benatia/Mangala and Fernando we have to lose one foreign spot from existing squad. At the moment Pants has gone so in theory Garcia could stay if we sign a homegrown keeper. If we sign a foreign keeper such as Willy from Malaga then we are back to losing IMO one of the following, Dzeko, Kolorov or Garcia. Fernando would be a like for like replacement and so he would be my favorite to go.

In respect of CL squad if it is 16 foreigners, then notwithstanding the above another foreign player has to be excluded from the A list so IMO only that would be MDM.

Wouldn't mind if Javi was sold, did a job the second half of last season but let's not forget he was a complete liability before that. He's not a bad player but from what I've seen/heard from Fernando he looks like an upgrade.

Should be looking to recoup a large fee of what we originally purchased him for. I'd be happy if we received something around the £10mill mark.

Agents said he's staying. Played very well second half of the season.

I'm just indifferent whether he stays or not to be perfectly honest. Even though he's done a sound job towards the end of this season he grabs opponents shirts and gives away silly yellow cards too often for my liking which is down to his clear lack of pace.

I think he should stay. I think he has come good & we will struggle to get anyone better without spending a shit load of money which we don't need to spend.
