Tolmie has already said a while back that the decision has already been made and that Garcia is off?
He might be. I doubt much is set in stone at this point. Based on the first half the season, I can see them working on selling him this past January to bring someone else in. Based on this half so far then the powers that be might reevaluate.

We can bring in a better player, one who still possesses Garcia's strengths but also isnt as limited.
The positive's in the meantime,we have a player, through his improved form, who is contributing very well to our title challenge and subsequently clawing back alot of his transfer value and worth to another club.

His attitude is always first class,he deserves to do well.

Very well might be the case. If so, I'll wish him luck and welcome our new signing. :)

Gotta say he has impressed me a bit recently.

Ditto

Said this for a long while when he plays in a full strength team he plays well and looks class, when he plays on our second string team not so, but this would apply to most players, thought he played very well yesterday in both positions, very good to have that option

IF he is on his way then we should get a decent enough fee. Maybe not the £16m we paid but at the start of the season a lot of people would have given him away.

Personally I hope he stays

I think we can get something in the region of £10-12m if he keeps this up.

I too think he's played pretty well of late, but, unfortunately he's taking up a valuable spot in our squad that needs to have someone closer to Fernandinho's level of ability in it, especially if we want to progress further in Europe.

If we do sell, I hope his replacement has the same aerial ability, Javi's a beast in the air, which comes in very handy against a lot of bottom half sides.

How many of those players are going to be willing to ride the bench so to speak for long stretches? I think you need a mix. As stated previously, if the people that make these decisions think they can upgrade, I'm all for it. I don't want Fernandinho 2.0 to be mainly a substitute, though. Seems a waste.

It seems he impressed all of us today when he play as a CB, therefore I hope he keeps playing there.

He is no CB (even back-up), and with due respect, we shouldn't draw any conclusions from Hull's popgun offence.

Why would we want to sell him if he keeps playing like this?

We can bring in another midfielder, sell Rodwell and keep Garcia. Javi doesn't seem like the type of guy to start mouthing off when he doesn't start every game. He is a useful squad player and we are not going to be able to buy a better midfielder who would be happy to do his role.

Spot on.

At around 13:38 Joe says "come on Javi, we need you Javi." Glad to see he's extra getting support from his fellow players.

Thats so interesting seeing a tunnel cam from another teams perspective.

Good to see Javi getting the support too. It sounded like Clichy was calling the shout as we went out for the second half or is my hearing rubbish

Yep Zaba. Loved his little embrace with Kidd at the end.

He played very well last night. The entire squad did and even though the rags are somewhat inept, they weren't just sitting back. Our defenders had plenty to do and shut them down.

He's so underrated. He's exactly where he needs to be at all times and his passing is so so delicate, I love him.
