Imo it would be a very very poor transfer window if all we signing where Rodwell, Garcia and Sinclair. We didnt need to improve massively but these signings will not improve us at all and with United and Chelsea signing the players they have they are the favs for the league now not us.

He's like Yaya. He started like a defensive midfield on Standard (Marcin Wasilewski had his leg broken by Witsel. You can see the video on youtube).
On Benfica, when Rodrigo injured, he shows skills to play behind the striker on their 4-1-3-2, and he did good matches.
On the Pre-Season he played there again. But, Rodrigo arrives from the Olympics and the coach decide to use the 4-2-3-1 with Garcia and Witsel as DM/CM

The one that was present was defensive coach Gregucci, the press actually took a picture of him so he was actually there and the interest may be real. Gaitán didn't play and was public since friday, so my guess is that may be between Javi (DMF), Witsel (CMF) and even Garay (CD).niall_mcfc said:Only rumours and paper stories said that. De Rossi would be been annoyingly perfect, the De Rossi saga has been one big horrible tease.
The problem is, would a guy who can be a replacement for Yaya be prepared to come to City only as Yaya's ACON replacement? I think they will have to be convinced there is significantly more playing time than that and anyway they are a part of the future of this team.
For this reason alone, the development of young players or finding the 'hidden gems' like Nir Biton, will be really important for City going forward.
