God knows. Like most of us, I really don't know what his role is. We all know the negatives about him, but what are his actual positives? Decent in the air is about it.

Bit of a comparison, pizzaro last year looked class on the ball but his best years were beyond him. But at least you could see that class. Can the same be said about Garcia? From what I've seen so far, no. I really do hope he comes good, but I just can't see it.

He is a defensive midfielder,

Win the ball and pass to Yaya, Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Tevez and so on. Go forward for set pieces and try and flick it on for others or take a chance yourself as well as defending set pieces.

Pizzaro is a playmaker so of course he is going to be class on the ball. How about comparing him to NDJ the player that Garcia has replaced.

And judging a player off one pass is equally as bad. Were you saying he was brilliant when he scored v stoke? No. So give him a season. If he doesn't settle and plays poorly next season then fine. But give him half a fucking chance.

What I will say is that for the amount me paid for him we haven't got a lot of footballer (unless we're talking about his physique). People have asked what it is he does but I think they're slightly missing the point - what you see is what you get.

Up to now I think you could pluck Garcia from our team and replace him with most of the defensive minded midfielders from the Premier league and we wouldn't be particularly weakened and I think think this point emphasises how ordinary he has been for us. Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting him to go on mazey runs and take on half a team and slot it into the bottom corner, but neat and tidy (which has been a struggle) shouldn't cost 18 million quid.

No I wasn't saying he was brilliant because he headed a ball. I call someone brilliant that performs every single time he plays, like Messi, Ronaldo, xabi, iniesta. Garcia is another average summer signing. The only one that has come out looking good is nastasic .

As premier league champions if you sign a player he should strengthen your side, he certainly has not !!

How long did Ronaldo take to settle at real ? Only deluded city fans use that excuse

If that's the case: he had a 95% pass accuracy against Sunderland and 97% against Reading few weeks ago but we all know that it's not only about one or few passes so really can't see why are you pointing out one silly moment.
