Javi Garcia

Re: Javi Garcia ?

While waiting for a haircut this morning read the Daily Mail match report by Chris Wheeler. He gave Garcia a 6/10 while most of our team had only a 5/10, bizarre! I dont remember seeing a performance as completely inept.

Re: Javi Garcia ?

He has not had a great start for us in the limited time he has been here (3 months) however, I'm sure he will be a very good player for us, seems a bit lost for us at the moment as he's not the focal point in midfield.. with Barry and Yaya taking up similar spaces its difficult.

He WILL come good just needs time, luckily the Manager will give him that and the moaning kunts on here will have to lump it.

I'm sure this thread will be more complimentry in 20 pages time...

Re: Javi Garcia ?

I actually felt sorry for him last night.
He looked OK when he came on against Real.
Last night though, he was completely out of his depth. Too slow to make tackles, too show to release the ball, too slow in general, wimped out of tackles.
I am sure he will be better than he was last night, no way we could have got it that drastically wrong. But he isn't showing anything to suggest he will be a top player, and certainly not worth the money.

Hope I'm wrong, as I like him, but not showing promising signs at the moment.

I just felt sorry for how out of his depth he seemed. Having an off game due to lazyness doesn't warrant me feeling sorry for him. Likewise, I don't feel sorry for Yaya when he is having his off days at the moment.

But I have rarely seen a player look so poor as Garcia did last night.

Re: Javi Garcia ?

To be honest Savic made less mistakes than this kid and got fired over to Italy , Lescott has made fewer errors and is now on the bench or in the stands. Dzeko has had a couple of iffy games and is pretty much a full time sub now. Rodwell made two bad passes and both resulted in goals so i would think even when he`s fit he will have to work well to get selected.

Mancini doesn`t seem the type to suffer bad performances for any length of time whether they are new boys or not and only the fact that there`s not many other options in midfield will facilitate future game time.I appreciate the `give him time` etc but he`s been lucky his mistakes haven`t been too costly (apart from the game in Madrid where he was culpable to an extent).

Whether its fair or not he`s replacing someone who most realise was an important team/squad member lets hope he is up to the task because at the level we are at he cant afford not to be for much longer.

Re: Javi Garcia ?

like all the rest of the signings he made, average at best, apart from nastybitch!
