Javi Garcia

Got to love the fact many on here are super scouts capable of judging players after so little time.

Some of the abuse he is getting on here is quite frankly shameful.

He's come from a completely new league had injury problems and people expect him to be amazing.
Don't come back with oh he doesn't have the fundamentals eg bottle because that is bollocks, watch games he played last season. He is just settling in slowly and needs time before anyone can really judge how good he is. If we get to Jan/Feb and he is the same there has to be questions asked but until then give it a rest with the shittest player ever in a City shirt.

One more point stop banging on about NDJ. He has left, get over it.
No one here really knows what happened but it is expected that we offered a contract and he turned it down because Mancini didnt want someone like him in the team.
Great post im sick of hearing about Nigel Dejong he as gone and didnt want to stay.

I had given Garcia the benefit of the doubt until now, time to bed in, premier league pace etc.. but no longer. Against a Dortmund side that did not look interested for 1/2 he was woeful. This was his chance to shine, and he bottled it.

And Sinclair was not much better. Oh for NDJ and AJ back....

AJ back? You mad?

Sunderland fan forums are think they have bought a dud and many are questioning if he is really worth the hype. He is one dimensional and he is an enigma.

I know most of you think Garcia is S**T.But i think he will still prove to be good player for us

Hmmm he could get inured during the Acon, which would led us to only have Barry/Rodwell as subs for Yaya ...

I'm one of those who really don't rate him at this moment.
But taking in account what i saw from him during his Benfica years, he coud become an asset.
His main weapon was his quality during set pieces : in the air he was outsdanding and dominating, countless headers-goals at his credit.
He was kinda mix between Bousquets and Van Bommel, but never reaching the excellence of any of those.
I just can't explain how his overall fitness went so much downhill since May.
Watching him running, tracking back and pressing is really painfull.
Anabolic switch maybe?

he can't play on the same field as barry. garcia has no clue what to do when they play together. on the other hand when he replaced barry against Real Madrid he looked like a decent player
