Jayden Braaf joins Borussia Dortmund on a permanent deal

He has followed the well trodden path of Sancho. Run your contract down and move for free. We can’t stop it.

BD don’t need their own Academy they just use ours.
They also got Jamie Bynoe-Gittens from City. With the number of players that have gone from City to theirs, you’d think there would be more of a relationship with them but (is it their owner or some director) their top level management seem to be bitter.

Dutch reports that his City contract was dissolved by mutual agreement. "Taking to Instagram, Braaf announced that he has left Manchester City after having his contract dissolved," Seen no contradiction of that.
Interesting, if true then he really has burnt his bridges here.

"The number of players"? That usually means more than just two (if it's true about Braff having his contact dissolved then he's a free agent).

Meanwhile we've taken two stars off them so far and sounds like we're going to make it three either this summer or next at most.

Their CEO(?) is an odd one though.

Very talented player but needs to get his attitude right to make the most of his potential.

Dortmund will probably give him opportunities in their first team which might be exactly what he needs.

I think his career is more likely to mirror that of Ravel Morrison than Phil Foden though.

It's not like we are short of attacking talent at youth level.

Off the top of my head, Denzel Boadu, Sancho, Gittens…well Braaf is technically a free agent but you get my drift.

If it’s their CEO (?), definitely is an odd one. Everyone knows how they operate. So they really should be going about their business without any fanfare

Just remembered that they tried to sign Phil at some point.

I'd forgotten Boadu although it looks like footballs forgotten him as well. Without a club since January 2020.

Sort of heard he was without a while back. Thought he had one at the moment but seems he’s still in the wilderness. Football, as glamorous as it is can be ruthless if not taken seriously.

Dortmund have let Braaf go out on loan to Verona with an option to buy 6 months after signing him. He's going down the route of wasting his talents imo.

"The young Dutchman first arrived in Dortmund in the summer from Manchester City, prompting instant and likely premature comparisons to Jadon Sancho. Unfortunately, Braaf’s time with BVB has not gone nearly as smoothly as Sancho’s. In seven appearances with Borussia Dortmund II in the 3. Liga, he has yet to score a goal, and according to Kicker, has not acclimated well to the club. Per their report, he has acted out in training and has frequently shown up late to team practices. The young Dutchman first arrived in Dortmund in the summer from Manchester City, prompting instant and likely premature comparisons to Jadon Sancho. Sounds a familiar story from his reported attitude when he was invited to train with the seniors here sadly - all the latent in the world and a bad attitude ruins it
