Now we've got Boateng the insults are flying in thick and fast. Just been on 606 and all the rags are fuming about our latest signing (Apparently Hamburg are a bigger club than we'll ever be, and everybody hates us because we're arrogant and have no class and...wait for it...No History).

I used to be quite a regular on 606 because it was a good place to discuss all things football-related. But since our takeover all I've seen on there has been ill-informed, bitter, jealous plastic rags spitting venom and bile every time Man City gets mentioned.

The history thing makes me laugh, its all they have to cling to, there's nothing else they can say.

We've no 'sky' history, doesn't particularly upset me. However our heritage is rich and proud and compares with all apart from Liverpool's European Cup dominance, pre-sky.

And if the twats don't accept that argument then hit them with the obvious. What other club with 'no history' for the best part of 40 years, with neighbours that have tried to take over the world and send us into oblivion, would still be standing? And not only standing, but never went away, the worse it got, the loyaller we became. We are unique, no other set of fans would have withstood our recent 'history'.
