HISTORY
I am just reading a book that is all about our history,Starting under the name of Ardwick FC when we played Bootle on 3 Sept 1892 in 1894 our best goal scorere was Billy Meredith. We then changed to MCFC in 1894 our first ground was on Hyde RD. The first game to be played at the NEW stadium called Maine Rd was played on 25 Aug 1923 against Sheffield Wed we won 2-1
To me that is HISTORY for MCFC
