Jeremie Frimpong

I'd like frimpong but only because he would make an ideal right wing backing we were to go to 3 a the back, which I think would be ideal for our squad currently.
We’ve played 3 at the back many times over recent years, but almost always with the full back playing inverted , think we are far more likely to be looking for a fullback that has the skills to play inverted than somebody like Frimpong.

You make a good point, but Frimpong would give us another option.

“0161 Darren”.

Sounds like that’s his jail name, wears a red Berghaus and Rockports and drives round taxing teenagers on a bmx 4 sizes too small.

There’s literally no way we can take him seriously.
Darren posts pictures regularly of him dropping of clothing to players, I think the brand is called Clints, which footballers all over the place have jumped on board with. None more so than the Leverkusen squad. He’s mates now with a lot of them, including Wirtz and Frimpong. Speaks to them often. And he says this Frimpong story is bollocks, and also says that Wirtz would prefer to sign for Bayern, Madrid or Liverpool. We’re 4th choice at best for him. Whether we can change the picture by going to a higher price remains to be seen. I’d believe the guy that literally has their numbers over some random chancer that’s desperately trying to appear ITK.

Not having him mate sorry.

that was class we need to get this guy back

I don't think he is a right back, but I do think we will be interested in him as a utility player because of the fact he is homegrown and has a €40m buyout.

With Walker, Phillips, Grealish and maybe one of Stones or Ake possibly leaving, we will have to adjust our homegrown quota this year.

We all know replacing homegrown quota is seriously expensive to do and to be fair to Frimpong he is probably one the best homegrown deals to be had right now.

Club trained as well, wont even go in the HG slot.

Rather have Geertruida and Hato though

Prefer Trent Arnold on a free!

If he would say yes, and you could pay 40m for a player of his obvious qualities, you should do it.

Too many people write him off "oh he's not a right back"

So what? Let him play right wing. We need a player who can bomb down the line, deliver that final ball to the middle. Deeply involved in both goals last night. Club trained. Cut-rate price because of the clause. Plays at the top top level. League winner last year. Hitting his prime now. Champions league experience. Electric player.

His pace alone would result in chances for others, and wow, do we ever need that at this point. The lack of creativity is a massive obstacle which must be sorted.

In a system like this, Frimpong would be ideal:

——————————————Ederson—————————
——————-Khusanov———Dias———Aké—————
Frimpong————————-—Rodri—————Gvardiol
——-————BSilva—————————--Foden————-
——————————Haaland————Marmoush———-

(This is based on just the players we have now, plus Frimpong).
