What about Rico? Needs more minutes next season
Dont see Rico as a fullback personally mate, could be moulded into a very tidy DM though

There is a great balance to the squad at the moment, age wise, but we shouldn't let that slip.100% agree. We risk doing a "fergie" if Pep doesn't start planning now. Doesn't matter if he would be here to see his plans come to fruition, he just has to start getting the type of players we neee to get the team sorted ahead of his departure.
We have to make things as easy as possible for the next guy, Pep knew his job was never going to be threatened, so he had the luxury of taking the time to understand his team, the next guy probably wouldn't have that luxury as he most likely wouldn't have the same reputation as Pep (unless we are looking at Ancelloti).
Also, he needs to get rid of the players he has no clear plans for, there's no room for sentiments, players like Gomez can go the other way in a cash plus player deal, Alonso would love to work with a fellow Spaniard who's also a UCL and PL winner.
Give it a rest for fucks sakeWill be disappointing if we don’t sign him even if Walker stays. Kyle another year older and although he trains hard etc he cat beat Mother Nature forever. £34m is ridiculously cheap, counts as homegrown and if it is to be Peps last season then Walker may follow and leave when Pep does so why not plan for that while the chance is there? He has also stated he would love to come back so I really can’t see how this would be a bad signing
Might as well bring Vinny home.Thiago Motta? Glasner?
It would be great for him to learn from Kyle (before he leaves) to improve Frimpong's defensive skills as well.

Yes I know and Rico’s not as strong nir with that warrior mentality Kyle has. But Kyle can’t play inverted either and he’s not the best attacking. But Ricos got quick feet and obviously the type of intelligent player Pep loves. So what I’m asking is where does Rico fit in?Rico can't learn to do what Walker does, he's not fast enough. Frimpong is, so he could actually learn how to position himself, how and when to make that shoulder/shoulder challenge, when to go in, when to stay off, wait for a bad touch and buy time for covering defenders and the keeper etc.
A lot of Walker's ability is mental. There's plenty of very fast defenders out there, but they can't do what he does because he has a mental game that is incredibly underappreciated because he likes a drink off the pitch.
Angelinho sends his love! This feels like a no lose situation.
Even if it didn't work, for some reason, we'd surely recoup a £34m transfer fee?
