Got Jeremy Vine's show on Radio 2 on in the office here and it's rather funny hearing people expressing outrage at Clarkson's comments despite knowing full well they were said in jest.
I'm astonished that anyone is taking what he said seriously, but then Vine's show has a habit of attracting some rather odd listeners.

I believe right now Mr Clarkson is sat with his feet up, hands behind his head, his eyes shut listening to the radio and a very smug look on his face. I hope he is anyway, as it's piss funny what he said, and was a striker. Obviously said in his own unique little way of being funny, which he is.
