I don’t know how good this player is or what he is like but from what I see on here Palmer is more of a Mahrez replacement and this guy is more direct like Sane or Sterling not sure if that’s a good thing or not I like the more direct approach and that will suit Haaland but I don’t want Palmer to leave and I would have thought that Palmer is more of a Pep player. Not sure what this means for Palmer time will tell

£49m for him V’s the £35m+ we value Palmer at… Who’s the better I’ve no idea, but I’m not overly upset on his price.

It isn't as simple as one in one out and whatever the financial difference. Another senior player also needs to leave, meaning a player/body less in the squad.

Txiki is the best football director in the business. That doesn’t mean I have to agree that every transfer target is a great fit. The two aren’t mutually exclusive. Take a lie down.
I'm sure he has more experience and tools at his disposal than you.
Plus its fine to disagree but don't use that argumentation against other posters then object when its used against you.

I think it's pretty clear that Cancelo is off and almost certainly Laporte.

Have we lost our minds?

No. Football market and especially here in England has lost its mind completely in the last couple of seasons. The price tags are RIDICULOUS but it is what it is.....

Doku is a good player, especially 1 vs 1 that we need that and I'm sure in the Pep system will fit somehow and will help.
I'm thrilled we did this move.
Now just buy Paqueta and we are ready!
Of course we should NOT sell Silva obviously.
